Event to support the 16 Days of Action Campaign

Dear Resident

The local policing team in partnership with Everyone Active and England Netball will be hosting a fun netball session and drop in crime prevention stall in support of the 16 Days of Action.

The 16 Days of Action is an international campaign calling for an end to gender-based violence, commonly known as ‘violence against women and girls (VAWG)'

Monday 8th December 2025 at Stevenage Arts and Leisure Centre

1:30 - 2:30pm     Free Fun netball session for women and girls of all ages with England Netball Development Officer

2:30 - 3:30pm     Drop in to the Café at the Stevenage Arts and Leisure Centre to speak to local officers and partners about personal safety and staying safe this festive system.

Tackling VAWG and building public trust and confidence continues to be a priority for the Constabulary. VAWG describes a range of harmful and abusive behaviours that disproportionately affect women and girls, including sexual violence, stalking and harassment, domestic abuse and coercive and controlling behaviours.
