You may have seen on Twitter how once of our PCSOs met young Charlie on the High Street, who is bravely recovering from an operation.

Staying on the High Street, with the support of colleagues from neighbouring teams, we ensured a police presence at the Christmas Light switch on in Wednesfield, engaging with attendees and enjoying the atmosphere. We are pleased to say the occasion passed without any notable incident and was enjoyed by all!

Seized a van in Heath Town that had not been taxed or insured since July 2024!

Supported an elderly female who had collapsed in the street, ensuring she got safely to hospital to receive medical attention.

Arrested a prolific shoplifter for 10 offences, also including drugs offences and breaching a court order.

Conducted multiple patrols at Crossways Shopping Centre in response to reported antisocial behaviour.

Offered crime prevention advice relating to criminals targeting people over the festive period, including a leaflet drop in Wednesfield for those we couldn’t get around to.
