We're appealing for witnesses after two boys assaulted another boy in Nailsworth on Tuesday (2 December).
It has been reported that shortly before 4pm the victim got off a bus in Forest Green when he saw two boys whom he thought he knew, and he waved at them.
When he got closer he realised he did not know the boys, who were wearing face coverings and tracksuits. The two boys then repeatedly assaulted him, causing the child to sustain facial injuries and lose consciousness.
The child received medical attention and he required stitches. Officers attended and enquiries are taking place to identify and locate those involved.
