Cold, wet, and icy conditions can create opportunities for thieves. Please take these steps to protect yourself and your property:
✅ Never leave your car unattended while defrosting – thieves can steal it in seconds.
✅ Stay with your vehicle if the engine is running.
✅ Remove valuables from your car overnight – don’t leave bags, tech, or tools visible.
✅ Lock doors and windows at home – darker evenings make homes more vulnerable.
✅ Use lights and timers indoors to make your home look occupied.
✅ Check CCTV and alarms are working properly.
✅ Keep keys out of sight and away from doors/windows to prevent key theft.
