New fraud reporting website

Dear lovely Dacorum resident

A new national service called Report Fraud went live on Thursday (4th December 2025).

Report Fraud replaces Action Fraud, which has existed since 2009. The service has been designed and delivered by the City of London police, the national policing lead for fraud, working in close partnership with other law enforcement partners, including the National Crime Agency and wider partners from banking, tech, and victim services. It also supports the National Fraud Strategy launched in 2023 and fulfils one of the key elements of that strategy to replace Action Fraud.

Report Fraud will provide several services:

Online contact centre

Telephone reporting service where victims can report allegations of cyber-crime and fraud – 0300 123 2040

Online reporting portal, where victims can report allegations of cyber-crime and fraud – reportfraud.police.uk

Online law enforcement collaboration portal (N-CAS) which is serviced locally by the Crime Compliance Team, Fraud Triage and the Serious Fraud and Cyber Unit.

Report Fraud Victim Services

Please make use of it as it enables us to monitor and investigate ( where practicable) fraud trends and practices.
