Spiking.... |
||
|
Spiking someone may make you feel in control, but this is how it makes someone who’s been spiked feel:
Spiking includes adding extra alcohol to your friends’ drinks without them knowing “just for fun”. Spiking in any form is a criminal offence, and it could have serious consequences for you if you do it.
Confirmed cases of spiking are rare in Devon and Cornwall, but if you’re out and about this Christmas and think you have been spiked, tell a trusted friend or a member of staff immediately. If you are in immediate danger call 999. Report it to the police once you are safe, whether it happened to you or someone else.
Think Safe, Stay Festive!
