Four people have been arrested during an operation targeting drug gangs operating in the Welwyn Hatfield area.
Officers from our County Lines Investigation Unit (CLIU), supported by the Operational Support Group, raided a series of addresses in Borehamwood and Welwyn Garden City on Wednesday 3 December 2025, making four arrests, of which three have now been charged.
During the operation officers seized more than £10,000 in cash, along with half a kilo of suspected cocaine and several bladed weapons.
Detective Inspector Mike McCoy, from Hertfordshire Constabulary’s Serious and Organised Crime Command, said: “This operation is the culmination of months of work from CLIU and Case Investigations Unit, which targeted a major drug gang operating in Welwyn Garden City and surrounding areas.
“These drug lines are run by organised crime groups who use violence and commit a whole range of crimes that pose a real threat to the community. Our investigations depend on information from members of the public to help us crack down on drug-related crime. Any information you can provide, no matter how small it may seem, could help us to identify and apprehend drug dealers.” More details here: Four arrested during operation targeting Welwyn Hatfield drug dealers | Hertfordshire Constabulary
