Crime prevention message / Neges atal troseddau |

Thankfully reported crime and anti-social behaviour is low within the rural communities of the Gorseinon Policing Sector. However sadly those who engage in criminality and anti-social behaviour do not take a break over the festive season. This message is just a reminder of some crime prevention tips to keep your homes and property safe. Remember to make sure that all doors and windows of your homes, shed and outbuildings are locked and secured with all valuable property kept out of sight. If you have alarms or security lighting please ensure that they are in good working order and switched on when required Lock or immobilise vehicles and equipment when not in use removing keys from cars tractors and other vehicles left unattended. Where possible visibly mark valuable property as this not only acts as a deterrent to thieves but can assist in the recovery and return of property should it be stolen. Finally remain vigilant and report any suspicious incidents either via 101 or by using the online reporting portal on the South Wales Website. In any emergency dial 999. Your local neighbourhood Policing Team are committed in keeping your communities safe and will be running a number of engagements in the New Year which we hope to see you at. From all at Gorseinon Police Station have a Merry Christmas and Peaceful New Year. | ||
