Burglary Dwelling Nothing to Report Burglary Other Nothing to Report Theft of motor vehicle Between 5.45pm on Monday 8 and 7.45am on Tuesday 9 December in Watnall road, Hucknall, two mechanical rollers were stolen from the new Lidl Supermarket construction site. Between 5.00pm on Sunday 7 and 10.00am on Tuesday 9 December in Clumber Street, Hucknall, a silver Volvo XC90 R estate was stolen from a car park to the rear of the property. It has been recovered. Theft from motor vehicle Between 10.00pm on Friday 5 and 6.30am on Saturday 6 December in Hazel Grove, Hucknall, a silver Citroen C3 Aircross, possibly left unlocked, was entered and an untidy search made. A black iPhone 12 and £5 worth of change was stolen from the car. Between 9.00am and 3.00pm on Sunday 7 December in Angel Way, Hucknall, an unlocked car and van were entered. A pot of loose change and a car diagnostics tablet was stolen. Between 10.00pm on Monday 8 and 8.30am on Tuesday 9 December in Carlingford Road, Hucknall, a Vauxhall car was broken into. A pink and white bag with horses on, a Barbour jacket, hoop earrings and other bits of clothing were stolen. Theft At approximately 1.00pm on Friday 28 November in Bestwood Road, Hucknall, a scooter was parked outside a property while shopping was taken into the house. The owner returned from the house to discover the seat had been stolen from the scooter. Robbery At 1.16am on Sunday 7 December in Central Walk, High Street, Hucknall, a man walking past the T8 Wine Bar was approached by a white male with a goatee beard, wearing dark clothing with a stripe down the trousers. He asked for money which was refused and then revealed a hammer tucked into his trousers. The victim being cautious offered to go to the ATM outside the Post office on the High Street to get some cash. Once on the High Street in a well lit area and with other people around the victim refused to get any money from the machine and his ‘attacker’ walked off back towards Central Walk. At around 5.30pm on Monday 1 December in Farleys Lane, Hucknall, a young female was walking along the lane when two males approached and tried to snatch her phone and handbag. One male bit her arm and she was pushed to the ground cutting her hand and leg on some broken glass. The first male was Asian, had floppy hair, wearing a puffer jacket and a Nike baseball cap. The second was mixed race, a bigger build than the first and he was the one who bit her. Criminal Damage At some time on Friday 28 November in Rufford Close, Hucknall, a front window was smashed and a door damaged. At 5.40pm on Wednesday 3 December in Bestwood Road, Hucknall, a male teenager pushed over a fence bending it halfway to the ground. He was accompanied by a second male who also tried pushing at the fence but ran off when the first one caused the damage. Around 3.30pm on Tuesday 9 December in Shepherd Street, Hucknall, two girls from the Flying High Academy kicked the door of a house leaving muddy footprints and chipping to the wood. They had done the same thing around the same time on the previous two days. At 3.19am on Wednesday 10 December in George Street, Hucknall, a CCTV camera on a property was tampered with, a substance had been applied to the lens and the direction of view altered. ASB At 7.04pm on Friday 5 December in Chappel Street / High Street, Hucknall, a group of around twelve, 12/13 year old teenagers, wearing dark clothing and balaclavas, some on bikes, were messing about. Two shopping trolleys were taken from the B & M store and banged into the front door of a property. No damage was caused. At 1.40am on Sunday 7 December in Lovesey Avenue, Hucknall, a report of three young males riding mopeds and bikes up and down for the past 30 minutes. None of the vehicles had registration marks. At 5.13pm on Sunday 7 December at McDonald’s Restaurant, Ashgate Road, Hucknall, a report of a group of youths throwing sauce pots around and refusing to leave. Around 11.20 pm on Sunday 7 December from Francis Grove, Hucknall, the first of many reports from around the Ashfield area, regarding loud music with a deep base beat, coming from the Annesley/Newstead area. At 5.10pm on Monday 8 December at McDonald’s Restaurant, Ashgate Road, Hucknall, four 12 /14 year old males were messing about climbing over chairs and tables, being rude and intimidating to customers, and refusing to leave. Three were white, the fourth mixed race. At 6.39pm on Wednesday 10 December in Linby Road, Hucknall, a report of youths on the roof of the Leisure Centre. At 7.14pm on Wednesday 10 December in High Street, Hucknall, a report of four males wearing black clothing and balaclavas on the roof of Ladbrookes and L. Severn - Butchers. It is thought these were the same males as those on the Leisure Centre roof.
