Local Priorities Dangerous driving / speeding Message

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding dangerous driving and speeding, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Good Morning Heston East Ward residents we want to remind you that as you approach the Christmas and New Year time of year the importance of not Drink Driving after having a Alcoholic Drink and going out to a Christmas/New Years Party please arrange your transport to the location and return journey do not think you can just risk it this once because it is dangerous to you and your family and your career just to save time and money. Think ahead about your plans and do not not risk it. We want all our residents to have a Wonderful and Great Christmas where we are all safe and well and spending time with our family. Also while driving around on this Christmas Festive time it can be busy on the roads so do not drive if tired or if you do not feel well enough to and share any long journey you are taking it could save your life and others.

If someone is driving a motor vehicle, they should always be doing so in a safe and considerate manner. Even momentary lapses in judgement can have life changing or devastating consequences for those in the vehicle or innocent bystanders.
