Report Fraud

Hello Resident,

The UK’s national reporting centre for fraud and cyber crime has been renamed Report Fraud (previously Action Fraud). 

Report Fraud will provide a new service, from how reports of cyber crime and fraud can be made through a new Report Fraud hub, to how reports are analysed, and how victims are supported.

The service has been designed with the victim’s experience at the heart of how reporting works.

Report Fraud aims to give victims of fraud:

  A simpler, faster, and more accessible reporting experience.

  Clear updates for victims on what’s happening with their reports.

  Information on how individual reports have helped protect others.

  Stronger prevention advice to protect more people and businesses from fraud.

  Faster, higher-quality intelligence for law enforcement, helping secure more prosecutions.

  Real-time disruption of criminal activity through data sharing with banks and other partners.
