Car parcel shelf theft

In the last couple of weeks there have been several Thefts from motor vehicles of rear parcel shelves in your neighbourhood. 

Please stay vigilant and follow the crime prevention advice below.

1) Always ensure you lock your vehicle, even if you only intend to be away from it for a short period.

2) Fully close all windows and the sunroof to prevent ‘fishing’.

3) If parked overnight, remove the parcel shelf from your vehicle and leave it indoors.

4) If possible, park your vehicle in well-lit or busy areas or under CCTV coverage. Especially when parking overnight.
