Increase in Theft from Motor Vehicles

We have seen an excessive increase lately of ‘Theft from Vehicles’ in the area and being a victim of vehicle crime can be distressing. More than 80% of people whose cars are broken into are emotionally affected.

This time of year we have reports of Christmas gifts stolen from vehicles which has an emotional impact but also a financial cost of having to replace the items. We cannot emphasise enough to remove ALL valuables and to ensure that you always lock your vehicle. Also, consider installing CCTV and a motion sensor light at your property.
