Dear resident Hope you are all well and having a good start to your week. Here’s a quick roundup from your local policing team of some of the work we have been doing over the couple of weeks in the Blakenall Ward area: Patrols have been carried out in the areas of Copper Works Way, Zinc Close and Settler Way in relation to reports of ASB- door knocking/kicking and loitering. The team are currently working with local partners in relation to this matter. Continued work has been carried out in the Deans Place and Cartbridge Crescent area of Coalpool in relation to reports of speeding vehicles and ASB. If anyone witnesses any anti-social driving this can be reported to Operation Snap | West Midlands Police. Any reports of anti-social behaviour can be made by visiting the below link-Report antisocial behaviour | West Midlands Police The team attended along with local partner agencies including Walsall Council and Walsall Housing Group the latest partners and communities meeting at Blakenall Village Centre (18/12/25) – this is an excellent way of raising issues and/or concerns you have. The next dates will be posted as soon as possible. The team attended Goldsmiths Primary Academy for their Christmas Fayre- this was a wonderful event put on by the school with plenty of fantastic local produce/products on sale from local vendors. The children and team had a brilliant time and was able to ‘arrest’ the grinch causing a stir!!The team attended a burglary at a residential property in the Harden Road area on the early evening of the 13/12/25. In the run up to Christmas, we ask that residents remain vigilant – not to leave windows open where possible and be mindful in where they have deliveries left if they are not home. The team will be carrying our further reassurance and targeted patrols in relation to this activity.
