Road Traffic Operation

Dear Residents,

Your Selhurst Safer Neighbourhood Team worked together with Roads and Traffic Police Command on a Traffic Operation in response to community concerns regarding vehicles speeding at Gloucester Road where various speed reduction measures are used such as a road bumps and 20MPH signs across the road.

With the use of a Radar Speed Device, we measured the speeds of over 40 vehicles with speeds averaging 20.6mph with the slowest going 15MPH and some exceeding 20MPH resulting in them getting stopped and appropriate actions were taken to ensure the safety of all road users.
