Arrest: Prolific Offender

Good afternoon everyone, 

Today, at approximately 1pm - officers from the Sutton Central Neighbourhood team were on plain clothes patrol in the town centre, working towards identifying offenders who target Christmas shoppers and also the stores themselves. 

While on patrol, an adult male was identified by store security as being of interest to the police - he was riding a bike on the high street. 

Officers have quickly identified him, and intercepted him without him knowing they were police officers until it was too late. 

He was subsequently arrested for the following offences:

Burglary x1

Shoplifting x5

Breach of Court Order x1

He is currently in a South London police station and will likely be attending court tomorrow.
