✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅

This week in St Matts the local neighbourhood team have conducted Crime Prevention Advice Surgeries at the NatWest Bank, Tesco Extra & also visited St Mathews Church Walsall all establishments have been very welcoming and have been grateful for our visits. We have also arrested 6 offenders for various of offences in the St Matthews area. Officers are continuing patrols in areas where we are receiving reports of ASB, this includes some of the communal areas at block of flats & the Town Centre. The local neighbourhood team have also carried out a knife arch operation in the park street arcade which did result in the arrest of an individual who was wanted for knife related incidents.

📅 Upcoming Police & Community Engagements 📅

Officers will continue to patrol the Caldmore area due to ongoing issues with vehicles parking on double yellow lines and zig zags, vehicles that have been causing an obstruction will be noted down and will be receiving a fine in due course. We will remain visibile in the town and will be plenty more of pop-in surgeries in and around the town.

🚨 Crime & Safety Updates — What You Need to Know 🚨

There is still a high level of retail thefts which we are tackling, as we are able to view cctv of the incident and identify individuals through facial recognition. We have also been doing surgeries in retail shops to show a high visibility presence. We have also had an increase in ASB with youths due to schools breaking up. In response to this we have increased our patrols in and around the town and have also visited different youths club and have increased engagments with youths.
