Have fun, be safe

Good evening, 

With Christmas only days away, just a reminder to follow some safety advice. Some of you might be visiting family, in which case, ensure you don't leave any valuable on show, ask neighbours to keep an eye on your home, put lights on timers and if you have an alarm- use it. 

You might be tempted to have a little tipple, remember alcohol can stay in your system for a long time after. Don't drink and drive. 

It can also be a time where we are with family for longer than we are used to, tensions might be high. Rather than argue, go for a walk, get some fresh air and try to talk it over calmly. 

It can also be a time of loneliness, try to check up on your neighbours, sometimes a 10 minute conversation can make all the difference.
