Dear Residents,
This Is a quick update on this set -
Reported Crime (17th – 22nd December)
Theft of Motor Vehicle - 2 Theft from Stall – 2 Burglary – 1 – CAPCROFT ROAD
Updates –
There has been an encampment In the car park of Daisy Farm Park which has now gone, they left on the 22nd.
Increased patrols have been conducted on Maypole Retail and surrounding stores as the foot fall has increased over the festive period. We have also increased patrols In the residential areas due to the longer nights concentrating on our Hot spot areas.
Sunday we welcomed our new Street Watch members to Billelsey where you may see them patrolling around the Maypole area. We had positive feedback from members of the public.
The PCSOs also attended a Neighbourhood Watch meeting Sunday afternoon with concerns from residents of local issues from parking to burglary. Advice was passed and we will be patrolling the area.
We had good news on Sunday where after several reports on HOLLYBANK ROAD two stolen mopeds were located and a person detained after a foot chase. We believe these mopeds have been causing anti-social behaviour around the area. There has also been a blue/ orange Scrambler around the area. If you have seen or have any information please get In touch.
PCSO McGachie will be leaving the team today as she will be heading to Safer Travel. We wish her all the best In her new role.
Again, a big thank you for all your valued and ongoing support. Please follow us on Twitter (X).
From all of us on the Billesley NHT, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
