Witness Appeal: Criminal Damage on Hillingdon Road, Swindon

We are appealing for witnesses following reports of criminal damage offences in Hillingdon Road, Swindon. 

The offences, which relate to damage to property and vehicles, occurred on multiple days between December 19 and December 23, 2025.

The first incident occurred at around 1200 noon on December 19 with the following incidents happening in the early hours of the following days.

The suspects involved were on electric bikes, wearing dark clothing and balaclavas.

A/Detective Sergeant Will Saunders said: “Creating safer public spaces is a priority for Wiltshire Police.  These incidents are deeply concerning for the local community, and we are taking them seriously.  We’ve increased high-visibility patrols in the area to reassure residents and prevent further damage.

"We believe that a white van was in the area during an incident on the 19th of December, and we are keen to speak with the driver, who may hold vital information.

"If you have information that could help with our enquiries or have witnessed suspicious activity in the area, please contact us on 101.  Even the smallest detail could be the missing piece that helps us stop this behaviour and bring those responsible to justice."
