Officers are aware of and actively investigating a series of caravan break-ins reported on 28th December 2025 at H&G Taylor Caravan Storage. A number of enquiries are already underway, and further investigative steps are being pursued.

We are aware this incident is being discussed on social media and want to reassure the public that we are taking this matter seriously. Additional patrols will be deployed in the area, particularly during evening hours when visibility is reduced.

Crime Prevention Tips for Caravan Owners:

Install robust locks on doors, windows, and storage compartments.

Use wheel clamps and hitch locks to make towing difficult.

Fit an alarm or tracking device for added security.

Remove valuables when the caravan is not in use.

Consider CCTV or motion-activated lighting around storage areas.

Mark property with your details or use a forensic marking kit to deter theft and aid recovery
