A message from Stroud District Council offering support to the community of Brimscombe and surrounding areas: To help support the community at this incredibly sad time, we are working with partners to facilitate an opportunity for local people to speak to The Red Cross, Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service and Stroud Neighbourhood Policing Team. Trained professionals will be on hand to offer reassurance and to listen at The Long Table from 10am to 2pm on Tuesday, December 30. We are grateful to The Long Table for facilitating this, and it is also open from 2pm to 8pm in the coming days for those who need support. Holy Trinity Church in Brimscombe is also open from 8am to 4pm for people to leave their thoughts and prayers. As a council, our thoughts are with the family and friends of those affected, and we are working with partners to support the community around them in any way we can. We are also continuing to support the efforts of Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service and Gloucestershire Constabulary, to ensure the safety of personnel at the scene. Help for those who need it is also available from the Red Cross by calling 0808 196 3651 between 10am and 8pm (Mondays and Thursdays) and 10am to 5pm (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays) Gloucestershire-based bereavement charity for young people, Winston's Wish also has helpful advice on its website: Winston's Wish - Bereavement Support for Children More information is available via Gloucestershire Constabulary’s Facebook page (1) A woman and two children are... - Gloucestershire Constabulary | Facebook and website Woman and two children believed to have died in Stroud house fire | Gloucestershire Constabulary | ||
