Whiting House, Greenway, Lydd.

Hello all

Hope you all had a good Christmas. 

Whiting House, Greenway in Lydd regularly has young children playing within its communal grounds which isn't a play area, it's an area for the parking of vehicles and access for residents and I believe that the vast majority if not all the children live elsewhere in Lydd anyway.

Therefore this is a polite request to parents of predominantly primary school aged children to not let their children play within the outside areas of Whiting House please as although most of the issue is noise and balls hitting windows and walls of flats which let's face it is a bit annoying for anyone, some of the behaviour amounts to deliberate ASB and some of the residents are vulnerable for a number of reasons.

I don't think that my request is unreasonable especially as The Rype is only a skip hop and jump away from Whiting House as well as other purpose built play areas in Lydd.

If the behaviour continues at Whiting House and I'm able to identify the children, I'll pop round and have a chat with them and their parents and also the school but hopefully that won't be necessary.
