ARREST of a SUSPECT carrying Sharp Bladed Articles, and possession of Class B

On 30 December 2025 at approximately 17:00 hours, PCSOs Hamish Williams-Murray, Jaszewski, and Islam were conducting a high-visibility foot patrol in the Swiss Cottage area following reports from members of the public of a male seen carrying sharp objects believed to be a knife. Upon locating the individual, he was detained by PCSO's until uniformed constables from Emergency Response Team arrived, to carry out a search and effect an arrest for possession of bladed articles and Class B drugs. The suspect, was later Sectioned and sent to hospital after mental health concerns.
