2025 Round up

Happy New Year to everybody!

I thought I would end the year with a short round up!

Over the final few months of the year we saw a rise in Motor vehicle Crime on our cluster along with garage break ins.  Loose change and generic items that were left in the cars.  Bikes were the target from garages.  Following lots of work with a certain suspect and an incident which occurred a couple of weeks ago, im pleased to say we have not had any Burglary's since, which is reassuring given the time of the year.

Shoplifting also rose along Victoria Road in some of our larger stores that sell Meat, Alcohol and Cosmetics.

This will be an ongoing issue with cost of living rising, in particular those who are stealing Meat and Alcohol in mass to sell on to others.  You may have seen us arresting some of these people, notably a chap who was caught running out of Sainsburys with a bag of Lamb Joints and other meats!  Hopefully he will behind Baa's soon (sorry it is Christmas).  On a serious note this individual is being dealt with appropriately.

Surbiton in comparison is one of the safest places to live in London.  We still have to be vigilant against those who have little regard for the law. I also need you all to report suspicious people in the area, no matter how slight it might be.  If it turns out to be nothing that's fine, id rather you report it for the one time your intuition is right!
