Burglary - The Fairway - Can you help?

Crime reference: CAD0278 of 01JAN26

On New Year's Eve, Wednesday 31 December 2025 between 2136hrs and 2206hrs a burglary took place in The Fairway on the odd-numbered side in the close vicinity of the junction with Brackenbridge Drive.

It is believed that 4 males were likely to have been involved and who were seen running off in the direction of Brackenbridge Drive at 2206hrs approx.

Action required please:

If you live in the vicinity of the burglary and have a CCTV system or a video doorbell, please take time to review your footage and contact the police on 101 as soon as possible using the above reference.  Other ways of contacting the police can be found HERE at the bottom of the home page.

Do you capture images of the suspects before or after the incident, perhaps to or from a vehicle?  Vehicles are often parked in adjacent or nearby roads, so any CCTV on the road systems close to the scene may be of significance.  Even poor images of people going to and from a vehicle in the distance can be of huge significance in the overall investigation of burglaries.  Similarly direction of travel and vehicle colour.

If you are out for the evening always set a light on a timeswitch, set your intruder alarm, make sure that the rear of your property cannot be accessed and that climbing aids such as wheelie bins are not readily accessible wherever possible.
