Dear Resident, On Tuesday whilst out on patrol two of our PCSOs located a stolen Toyota Aygo. The vehicle which has been stolen by means of a burglary was found in a small residential car park behind houses in the Radford area. Officers were able to recover the vehicle with the help of our recovery agent and inform the registered keeper of the vehicle that it had been found.
On Wednesday our officers seized this Ford Focus which had been abandoned on Keresley Brook Road. The vehicle was parked at the location with no tax, no MOT and no insurance. There were also parts missing from the car.
On Saturday officers attended an address in Holbrooks suspected of growing cannabis. Whilst at the location the officers noticed clear signs that the property was being used to grow cannabis. The officers were able to gain entry to the address where they found a cannabis factory with 75 plants. After the power company had made the property safe the officers recovered the cannabis and secured the property. ![]() Saturday evening two of our team ended up with a foot chase with a male after they attempted to stop the vehicle he was driving. The car pulled up and the male got out to speak to the officers however as the officers got close the male has ran. After a short chase they have managed to catch the male. The male failed to give details and was arrested for possible immigration offences. The vehicle was seized from the male as he had no licence and no insurance. He was also found to be in possession of 4 sets of car keys. Investigations continues.
On Sunday officers from the team went to conduct some enquiries at a Holbrooks address in relation to a stolen bicycle. The officers ended up with two arrests from the address one for theft of pedal cycle and the other for possession of a bladed article after they were found to be carrying a knife in their trousers.
