Police issue urgent warning to owners of Ford Fiesta and Focus cars

Stanley Neighbourhood Team have been proactively patrolling the local area, following an increase in vehicle thefts - thieves are specifically targeting Ford vehicles, primarily Ford Fiesta and Ford Focus models. It is recommended to have layered security – use a steering or disc lock, a Faraday pouch/box for your key-less fob and consider installing a tracker system.

Always remove your valuable belongings. It could be the difference between your vehicle being targeted or not.

Ford Fiestas and Ford Focus models can be stolen without a key, making it considerably easier than many other cars on the market. It’s advised to take extra steps to keep your vehicle safe from criminals and theft.
