Dear Residents,
Here is your weekly update from your local neighbourhood Policing Team, to let you know some of what we've been busy dealing with:
PATROLS Officers have been carrying out patrols of the Henley area on foot and in vehicles. We have been paying particular attention to locations that have recently experienced an increase in crime and anti-social behaviour, such as Sowe Common, Crosspoint and Hillmorton Road.
During a patrol of Sowe Common this weekend, one of our officers come across two youths acting suspiciously around parked vehicles and a stop search on both was conducted. Both young males were taken home to their parents shortly after.
VEHICLE CRIME & BURGLARY We have had no reports of a vehicle thefts this week and two reports of burglary on the Henley ward.
The first burglary occurred on Cressage Drive between the hours of 17:00 on 02/01/2026 and 04:00 on 03/01/2026 whereby an intruder has gained entry to a property and conducted an untidy search. It is not known whether any items have been taken during this incident. If you may have heard or saw anything suspicious during these times, please contact us on 101 quoting crime reference number 20/102057/26.
The second burglary occurred on Woodway Lane between the hours of 19:00 on 02/01/2026 and 04:00 on 03/01/2026. Similarly, an intruder has gained entry through the front door of a property and conducted an untidy search and had stolen jewellery from the occupants.
