Burglary Near You - Bull Royd Crescent

Dear Resident

You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Bull Royd Crescent on Tuesday 6th January at approx. 1940hrs. The method of attack was by snapping the cylinder lock allowing entry. 

BETWEEN TIMES  STATED TWO SUSPECTS HAVE PULLED UP IN A BLACK AUDI (VRM UNKNOWN) AND USED UNKNOWN TOOLS TO SNAP THE LOCK AND ENTER THE PROPERTY VIA THE FRONT PATIO DOORS. SUSPECTS HAVE TAKEN TWO CREED FRAGRANCES AND A SWARVOSKI NECKLACE BEFORE LEAVING.

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between Tuesday 6th January 1915-2015 hrs to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police.
