Good Evening All *** THIS WEEK IN SIX *** Over the past few days, your local police have: Been out and about during the cold and frosty mornings, on the look out for potential vehicle thieves and reminding drivers to stay with their car as it defrosts.Charged a male for shop theft. Following his charge, he has also been recalled to prison for breaching his licence conditions.Patrolled Crossways Shopping Centre and dealing with antisocial behaviour.Arrested a shoplifter at Bentley Bridge for a shop theft in progress as our officers were there.Seized a vehicle in Heath Town after the driver had collided with roadside furniture in front of our PCSOs. The vehicle was not insured, SORN and had no MOT, and the driver only had a provisional licence. The driver was reported to court for all offences and the car was seized.Arrested a person who had failed to appear at court on charges of arson and drink drive.Continued our patrols of Bentley Bridge, both in response to, and to deter, antisocial behaviour and theft at the shopping centre.
