Partnership working at its best
On Wednesday, the NFU - National Farmers' Union met with West Mercia Police and DPCC Marc Bayliss to discuss the approach to tackling crime in rural communities, increasing confidence and the reporting of crime, as well as ensuring the force is able to respond effectively to the complex nature of rural and wildlife crime.
A number of actions were taken away from the meeting, such as the ongoing training to call handlers and police officers, crime prevention days and an increased focus on tackling issues such as hare coursing.
