Attempted theft from a vehicle

Dear Residents

We are appealing for information after a car door was opened and items left within the car on Walnut Crescent Kettering.

This occurred between 2:00pm and 5:00pm on 8th January 2026

We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to this incident, or that may have been in the area around the time of the incident and heard or seen anything suspicious. Please call us on 101 quoting reference number 26000014473 or report to us online here.

There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your vehicle:

Park your car in a garage or driveway if possible, or on a busy, well-lit road. Choose a ParkMark® accredited public car park wherever possible

Never leave anything on display in your car. The cost to repair damage to the vehicle will usually exceed the value of the theft

Drivers of some Toyota and Honda vehicles and some 4 x 4’s should install measures to deter theft of catalytic converts e.g Catloc | Catalytic Convertor Theft Protection
