Dear Met Engage Members, Ilford Town Ward Safer Neighbourhood Team will be holding a Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) engagement stall inside Ilford Train Station.

đź“Ť Location: Inside Ilford Train Station, Cranbrook Road entrance.
The purpose of this engagement is to raise awareness around VAWG, provide reassurance, and share practical advice on personal safety and crime prevention. Officers will be available to speak with members of the public, provide information on reporting options such as StreetSafe, and signpost individuals to relevant support services.
This stall also provides an opportunity for residents, commuters, and local businesses to engage with their local Safer Neighbourhood Team, raise concerns, and ask questions in a supportive and accessible setting. The engagement forms part of Ilford Town Ward’s ongoing commitment to improving women’s safety and strengthening community confidence.
Members of the public are encouraged to come along, speak with officers, and please feel free to inform family, friends, and neighbours who may find this engagement helpful.
