We hope you are all staying safe given the adverse weather we have experienced over the past 24 hours. There was a yellow weather warning issued at 1700hrs yesterday which is expected to end at 1200hrs today, with light rain still forecast for the rest of the day. There will be lows of -1degrees. 

If you need to go out, please avoid vehicular travel where possible, however the main roads of Normanton are looking clearer due to council road sweepings.
