Recently officers have received reports of individuals jumping through front/ back gardens and looking around properties and outbuildings with torches.

Residents are advised to remain vigilant and take the following precautions to help prevent theft or damages:

Ensure all outbuildings, sheds, garages and gates are securely locked.

Check doors and windows on your property are locked, especially at night

Keep tools, bikes and other valuables secured and out of sight

Consider using motion sensor lights or alarms where possible

Look out for any suspicious activity and report concerns promptly
