||
|
Hello Neighbourhood Link users,
Happy New Year and best wishes for 2026 from us here at Market Bosworth and Surrounding Villages Neighbourhood team.
Your local Neighbourhood Team at Market Bosworth and the surrounding villages have set our Quarterly Priorities for January until end March 2026. The priorities are as follows:
You Said - Anti-social Behaviour remains one of the beat priorities in the villages of Barlestone, Newbold Verdon, Groby and Ratby. We will do - We continue to see receive reports of Anti-social behaviour in the villages of Barlestone, Newbold Verdon, Ratby and Groby so we will retain ASB as a beat priority.
You Said - Road safety is still one of the top concerns we are receiving in our community. Issues such as Speeding, Parking and weight limit restriction breaches are some of the main issues. However, the spread of the complaints are such that there is not just one place to focus on and it will be a ‘general’ focus across the whole beat area. We will do - Over the coming priority period, (3 months) we will be looking to patrol the most identified locations for the weight limit breaches, speeding, and parking issues that have been identified and reported to police. We will look to carry out vehicle stops, speeding enforcement and where possible work with our businesses and partners to tackle the issues identified and reported to police. We will publish further updates later this month to keep the public informed of our actions.
You Said - Rural crime including burglary will always be a priority for the area of NH29 beat. We Will Do - Local officers from the Market Bosworth beat team along with officers from the Leicestershire and Rutland Rural Crime team will continue to prioritise and deal with Burglary offences and Rural Crime - especially Hare Coursing which continues to be an identified issue in our community. Later this month we will share some of the work we have been doing around this priority.
Please keep telling us what is important to you so we can ensure we target the issues that are important to you and the community that we serve. Please share the following link with your family, friends and neighbours if they have not signed up to Neighbourhood Link already, and further more by clicking the link you can also sign in and complete the Surveys so we carry on our YouSaidWeDid approach to setting our ongoing priorities and patrol plans. https://leicspolice.link/Qjyfl
