Local Priorities Parking issues Update

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Parking issues, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

Tonight, your local SNT have been patrolling Normanton Road and the surrounding areas moving on vehicles parked illegally. These issues continue to be a persistent programme in the area, and not only risk harm to pedestrians but make it harder for emergency vehicles to navigate through.
In terms of Policing Power, we are limited with regards to people parked on double yellow lines, however we do often host joint operations with traffic wardens to combat this.
