I would like to remind residents of Townhill to remain vigilant and take simple steps to help prevent crime in our community. 🔒 Home Security Always lock doors and windows, even when you are at home or out for a short time.Use timers for lights when away and consider fitting motion-sensor lighting.Keep valuables out of sight and do not leave doors or windows open unattended. 🚗 Vehicle Security Lock your vehicle every time you leave it and remove keys from inside the property but away from doors and windows.Do not leave valuables on display, including bags, phones, or loose change.Where possible, park in a well-lit area and use additional security such as steering wheel locks. 👀 Look Out for Each Other If you see something suspicious, trust your instincts and report it.Get to know your neighbours and consider joining or supporting local community watch schemes. 📱 Reporting In an emergency, always dial 999.For non-urgent matters, contact 101 or report online via the South Wales Police website.You can also report anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
