Op Martello

Good afternoon all,

Hope you are all well. Just update about Op Martello conducted today at George St, Richmond Town centre.

Police have been showing visible patrol and walked along the area covered during the Op preventing crime.

There have been no issues however police have spotted a male on a bicycle who was wearing a surgical blue mask and took off when he saw police, looking over his shoulder to see if police were after him. He was acting suspicious, police believe that he is involved in parking ticket machine scam. 

We had a drive around parking lots near Richmond Green and Old deer car park, did an area search, but unfortunately we have not spotted him. 
If you have information or you see someone acting suspiciously around parking ticket machine who match the description, please call 999 to report the crime immediately.
