We are investigating an incident which has been reported to us. It happened at 0047hrs on 28.12.2025 on Keighley Road in Cowling.

At that time, female victim was walking down the street with 2 friends when an unknown offender travelling in a passing white van has thrown a liquid out of the vehicle window towards the females.

The van was described as white van with ladders on top and word ‘’roofing'' on the side.

Do you have any information which would assist North Yorkshire Police in finding those responsible and help keep your community safe?

Did you or anyone who you live with, hear or see anything around the above time and date?

Do you have any CCTV coverage capturing the incident, or anything happening on the street before or after?
