Attempt burglary - Grassington Drive |
||
|
Good evening,
A resident on Grassington Drive has reported that on 16/01 at 01:30, the lock on the back door has been snapped.
No entry to the property has been gained, however it is believed that the suspects may have been after a BMW on the drive.
The suspects arrived in a dark coloured vehicle, drove up Grassington, then on to Lothersdale Close, where it spun around and parked on the junction.
They approached the victims address on foot, and then 5 minutes later, returned to their vehicle and left the area.
We advise that any high performance vehicles, particularly BMWs and Audis, are fitted with steering locks and parked in a position which may be difficult to drive away quickly.
