Hi All,

OPEN DISCUSSION/ YEAR 6 PUPILS
SNT Officers will be attending Maryland Primary School as well as Colegrave school in the new year so that open discussions can be made with pupils aged 11 years who are about to leave for secondary schools. This will consist of ideas brought forward including drugs as well as youths/knives. We will try to keep these visits open to other schools in the local areas.

Maryland SNT Officers attended COLEGRAVE SCHOOL-YEAR 6 PUPILS where an open discussion with intelligent young people took place this morning that covered both consequences and the definition of a knife as well as the realities caused when looking into the possible needs to carrying a knife. This was followed by a further discussion on the facts of legal and illegal drugs suck as cannabis and understanding he dangers of intoxication and how this can lead to dangerous situations.
