Courier Fraud Bishops Avenue Elstree

Dear reader,

Police are currently investigating an incident on Bishops Avenue in Elstree in relation to Courier Fraud. This is where someone impersonates a legitimate organisation such as the Police or Fraud team and gives the recipient fake information in order to get victims to take money out of their accounts and give over to them for “Safekeeping” or “Analysis”.

We are looking for any information that may assist our investigation of this incident, particularly any information on the 15th January where someone has attended an address on Bishops Avenue falsely claiming to be apart of these organisations. Unfortunately, we do not have any description at this time.

If you receive any sort of call where they are claiming to be police and you have your doubts it is actually us please hang up the phone and call 101  and give them the callers warrant number and they can confirm if the call is legitimate.
