Normanton Neighbourhood Team are currently making enquiries into a criminal damage incident that occurred on Palmerston Street, Derby. Three males in school Blazers approached the victims house, whereby one ran to the front door of the address and kicked it, causing damage to several panels of the door. They then ran away towards Livingstone Road. There doesn't appear to be any connection between suspects and the victim.
Officers are conducting CCTV trawls and house to house enquiries on the aforementioned street and surrounding area but are keen to hear back from anyone who may have witnessed it, has dashcam footage or experienced similar issues themselves involving 3 males of school age in that area. Checks will be made with local schools if the blazers or ties can be identified.
It is alleged to have occurred on Wednesday 7th January 2026 at around 15:55, although it was only reported this weekend.
