Dear Resident
On Saturday 17th January 2025 a theft from a vehicle occurred in Brookfield retail car park, Cheshunt. The means of this theft is, Victims vehicle was parked in the car park and the victim was returning her trolley. Whilst returning the trolley, a male has asked the victim for direction on how to exit the car park. Whilst giving directions, somebody else has opened the victims car door, where victims bag was, and has taken both victims purse and phone from it. Victim did not see the offender take the items but believes the male asking for directions was a distraction. Offenders have tried to spend money with the victims cards. The description of the offender we have is a tall male, late 40's, wearing glasses and smartly dressed.
