Afternoon all,

Over the past few days, your local police have:

Responded to a shop theft in progress at Bentley Bridge, tracked the route of the suspect and managed to recover all items stolen – which had been discarded – and returned them to the store.

Arrested a male for breaching his court conditions whilst on tag, following an original charge of robbery.

Went out early during the cold snap to advise people about vehicle safety when defrosting cars – thieves take advantage of the cold and will steal unattended vehicles!

Arrested a male following a racially aggravated public order incident.

With support from our colleagues from the Bilston team, police and Wolverhampton Council were able to collaboratively facilitate the eviction of an unlawful encampment in Ashmore Park.

Charged and remanded a prolific shoplifter.

Supported our CID colleagues with an arrest of a male for breaching his court bail conditions.

Lastly, over the course of a number of days, we supported with the initial response and ongoing management of the fire slightly off patch in Blakenhall.
