The King’s Trust: Youth Referral Pathway Project ADDER, in partnership with Westminster Council and The King’s Trust, has launched a specialist referral pathway to support young people (aged 16–30) on the periphery of gang involvement. By providing a dedicated caseworker and priority access to training, the project aims to divert vulnerable individuals away from crime and toward long-term success. Who is Eligible? Age: 16–30 years old.Location: Must be a Westminster resident.Status: NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training).Background: No serious sexual or violent convictions; not "actively entrenched" in a gang.Requirements: No specific qualifications or benefit-claims status required.Comprehensive Support & Benefits Financial Assistance: All programmes are 100% free. The Trust can cover travel and food expenses.Business Funding: Grants of up to £500 are available to test a business idea, with potential funding up to £30,000 to launch a startup.Personalized Care: Each participant receives a dedicated caseworker and flexible 1-to-1 mentoring to help with CVs, cover letters, and life skills.Safeguarding: A dedicated team ensures a safe, inclusive environment for all, with staff and volunteers strictly vetted and trained in safeguarding principles.Available Programmes Team (12 weeks): A flagship personal development course including work experience and a nationally recognized qualification (Ages 16–25).Explore (10 weeks): A flexible, personalized programme to improve confidence and reach specific life goals (Ages 16–25).Get Started (1–2 weeks): Short industry "tasters" in specific sectors like tech, sports, or creative arts (Ages 16–25).Get Into (2–8 weeks): Intensive vocational training with guaranteed interviews. In 2024, 6,000 participants gained employment via this route (Ages 16–30).Health & Social Care (4 days): A fast-track route into roles like Healthcare Assistants, admin, or ambulance drivers (Ages 18–30).Locations & Structure Support is delivered via a "Taster Day → Main Programme → Post-programme Support" model.
