Attempted Theft of Motor Vehicle |

Dear Resident
At approximately 01:45 hours on Wednesday 21st January, an attempted theft of a vehicle occurred in Thorley Park Road, Bishop's Stortford.
At this time, a local resident witnessed offenders attempting to steal a neighbours vehicle using what appeared to look like a wireless device. The resident called police, who quickly arrived. The offender ran off and pursued and located in a nearby garden by police and arrested, thanks to the local resident acting so quickly.
