Criminal Behaviour Order issued to Northampton teenager |

|
A teenage boy from Northampton has been issued with a two-year criminal behaviour order (CBO) following persistent anti-social behaviour and shoplifting in his hometown.
The order was granted by Wellingborough Youth Court on December 23 last year, following a joint application by Northamptonshire Police and West Northamptonshire Council (WNC).
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was first issued with acceptable behaviour contracts in April 2024, and despite the intervention from multiple agencies, he continued to display poor behaviour.
He was then made the subject of an anti-social behaviour injunction but following multiple breaches and persistent offending WNC and the Northampton Neighbourhood Policing Team collated evidence to successfully secure the CBO.
